Football Finesse Feature: Kilian Jacquet

Football Finesse got the opportunity to have a virtual tete-a-tete with Belgian under-19 prodigy, Kilian Jacquet. He plays for the Belgian club S.V. Zulte Waregam, based in Waregam, West Flanders.  His strengths include a pair of lightning-quick feet. His talent caught the eye of Nike scouts and he subsequently did videos for them. His passion for the game is evident in the fact that he’s the first one on the field and the last out. His speed, coupled with his dedication makes him a deadly prospect for the Belgian National Team. His motto in life is “Multiple workouts. Lots of pain. A few chances. One dream”
(Woah, that’s some deep shit)

We got the chance to ask him a few questions:
FF: What position suits you the best?
KJ: Left-mid, Left Wing and Left-attacking mid.

FF: Which club do you support?
KJ: Real Madrid

FF: So La Liga over the Premier League?
KJ: No, Premier League.

FF: What is your favourite team in the Premier League?
KJ: Chelsea
(Hm, Madrid AND Chelsea. Interesting)

FF: Which player do you regard as your inspiration?
KJ: Cristiano Ronaldo
(Wait a second. Chelsea, Madrid AND Ronaldo. Tarun, we’ve found your Belgian soul-mate )

FF:  Besides Ronaldo, which other player do you like?
KJ: Sergio Aguero.

FF: Would you rather sit on the bench and win trophies or play first-team football trophy less?
KJ: Try to play good enough to one day win trophies in that team where one would normally sit on the bench.
(Cesc Fabregas Version 2.0)

FF: Who is the best player that you have played against?
KJ:  I’ve played with and against Romelu Lukaku, he’s amazing. I also had the chance to play with Thorgan Hazard, Eden’s brother.

Football Finesse wishes you the best and tips you to make it big.

Check out his videos, the guy’s got skills.
