United Squad For Barca Final: Our Reaction

Sir Alex Ferguson has decided to pick the same team he picked in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Schalke 04, which Manchester United won 0-2, against F. C. Barcelona.
Javier Hernandez and Wayne Rooney start as the Premier League’s top scorer, Dimitar Berbatov, stays on the bench.
Antonio Valencia and Park Ji-Sung will feature on the right and the left respectively and have been given the nod over Nani and Paul Scholes.
Michael Carrick will be placed in the centre and is being preference over Anderson, Fletcher and Scholes. Ryan Giggs will be playing alongside Carrick in the centre and let’s hope his off-field problems do not affect him on-field.
Reaction:
I, personally, think it's the strongest squad that Sir Alex can pick and he definitely knows what he's doing. Park and Valencia, with their unlimited supplies of energy, will track the Barca full-backs, who love going forward and take part in the Catalans' attacking build-up. The inclusion of Giggs suggests that Sir Alex doesn't intend to sit back. United are going into the match thinking to attack right from the whistle. Carrick's had a brilliant second-half of the season, and he's gonna be VITAL in Sir Alex's plans of stopping Messi and he will HAVE to have the game of his life to keep the Argentine bastard quiet. The back four have been tried and tested and are perfect. If things don't go according to plan, the likes of Scholes, Nani and Berbatov on the bench are very capable of changing games.

So all in all, a thumbs up to the team from our side.
