Inter Milan beat Palermo 3-1 (A familiar scoreline for finals these days) to retain the Coppa Italia. It was their manager, Leonardo's first trophy as the Inter coach. Samuel Eto'o scored twice (26' and 76') thanks to Wesley Sneijder assists. Palermo then pulled one back two minutes from time through Ezequiel Munoz, who then went from hero to zero, having been sent off for a harsh foul.
Inter substitute Diego Milito scored deep into stoppage time to make sure the Milan side celebrated.
Eto'o finished as the Coppa Italia's top scorer with five goals this season, setting up a Milan derby in the country's SuperCoppa later this summer. Rivals AC Milan won the Serie A title for the first time since 2004.
Congaratulations to Inter!
